TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. General
By placing an order with Northern Florals, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Northern Florals reserves the right to amend these terms at any time without prior notice.
2. Orders
All orders are subject to availability and acceptance.
Once an order has been placed and payment has been received, you will receive an order confirmation via email.
Northern Florals reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order if products become unavailable, payment cannot be processed, or incorrect information has been supplied.
3. Product Images & Flower Availability
All photographs displayed on our website are intended as a guide only.
As flowers are seasonal and subject to market availability, certain flowers, colours, containers, wrapping materials, foliage, or accessories may need to be substituted.
Where substitutions are necessary, Northern Florals will make every effort to maintain the overall style, colour palette, quality, and value of the arrangement.
Substitutions may occur without prior notice.
4. Delivery
Northern Florals delivers to selected suburbs within our delivery area.
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed unless specifically agreed in writing.
While every effort will be made to deliver on the requested date, Northern Florals shall not be liable for delays caused by:
Traffic conditions
Road closures
Weather events
Hospital procedures
Recipient unavailability
Incorrect delivery information
Events outside our reasonable control
5. Recipient Unavailability
If the recipient is not available at the time of delivery, Northern Florals may:
Leave the flowers in a safe location;
Leave the flowers with a neighbour, reception desk, concierge, or authorised third party; or
Contact the recipient to arrange delivery.
Once flowers have been successfully delivered to the nominated address or safe location, responsibility transfers to the recipient.
Additional delivery fees may apply if re-delivery is required.
6. Incorrect Addresses
Customers are responsible for ensuring all delivery details are accurate at the time of ordering.
Northern Florals is not responsible for delays or failed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete delivery information.
Additional charges may apply for re-delivery.
7. Hospital Deliveries
Hospital deliveries are subject to hospital policies and recipient availability.
Some wards may restrict flowers, plants, balloons, or gift items.
Northern Florals is not responsible if a hospital refuses delivery or if a patient has been discharged or transferred.
8. Same-Day Delivery
Same-day delivery is available for orders placed before the advertised daily cut-off time.
Orders received after the cut-off time will be delivered on the next available delivery day unless otherwise arranged.
Availability may vary during peak periods including Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas, and public holidays.
9. Refunds & Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled for a full refund if cancellation is requested before preparation of the arrangement has commenced.
Once flowers have been prepared, designed, or dispatched, cancellations and refunds may not be available.
If you believe your order was delivered incorrectly or was not of acceptable quality, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and provide photographs where applicable.
Refunds, replacements, or store credits will be assessed on a case-by-case basis in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
10. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
Customers are entitled to remedies under the Australian Consumer Law where applicable.
11. Gift Items
Gift items including chocolates, candles, teddy bears, preserved roses, and hampers are subject to availability.
Equivalent products of equal or greater value may be substituted where necessary.
Customers should review product descriptions for allergen information before purchasing food-related products.
12. Privacy
Northern Florals respects your privacy and will only collect and use personal information necessary to process orders, provide customer service, and comply with legal obligations.
Customer information will not be sold to third parties.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Northern Florals shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from the use of our website, products, or services.
Our liability shall be limited to the value of the products purchased where permitted by law.
